OCT 2003: I have seen Monarch butterflies on two occasions in Atlanta during 2003. The first time I spotted a Monarch, it was sampling the nectar of the Lantana flower. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me at the time.
Luckily, I had another chance to photograph a Monarch butterfly! The female Monarch butterfly pictured on this page was spotted on 12 October 2003 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA.
